Xingji Meizu Group's high-end smartphone, the MEIZU 20 INFINITY (Infinity Edition), was awarded the "Shanghai Design 100+" for 2022-2023

On September 28, the 2022-2023 "Shanghai Design 100+" release event and the "Designing Innovative Cities" forum were held at the 2023 World Design Capital Conference. The high-end smartphone MEIZU 20 INFINITY (Infinity Edition), designed by Xingji Meizu Group, was successfully selected for the 2022-2023 "Shanghai Design 100+." Zhang Xiangrong, General Manager of Xingji Meizu Group's EYESEE Design Center, was invited to attend the ceremony and delivered a keynote speech titled "Boundless Design Leading Industry Integration."

The "Shanghai Design 100+" is a global platform for showcasing, exchanging, and promoting outstanding design achievements. It serves as an "accelerator" for improving design standards, uncovering design talent, fostering design professionals, and nurturing excellent enterprises. This initiative is a key step in Shanghai's efforts to deepen its status as a world-class "City of Design." The 2022-2023 "Shanghai Design 100+" attracted 2,542 outstanding projects from 18 countries and regions, including China, the United States, France, Italy, and Spain. The final list was determined through public voting, expert panel evaluations, and votes from city and district-level industry departments. MEIZU 20 INFINITY (Infinity Edition) stood out among numerous projects, representing high recognition from the government, industry, and the public for Xingji Meizu Group's design and manufacturing capabilities.

Xingji Meizu Group is a full-stack smart terminal platform that integrates multiple industries. Its business scope covers smart electric vehicles, smartphones, XR technology, self-developed operating systems, wearable smart devices, smart home products, and lifestyle technology. Focusing on the deep integration and synergy between consumer electronics and the automotive industry, the group operates around "smart electric vehicles + smartphones + XR + advanced technology." This enables the delivery of a multi-terminal, fully immersive, and all-scenario experience for users, building a global intelligent mobility technology ecosystem.

Zhang Xiangrong believes that with the arrival of the era of the Internet of Things, smartphones will no longer be limited to single functions and positions. Instead, through the concept of "boundless" design, they will integrate various advanced technologies and excellent user experiences to achieve intelligent connectivity across multiple devices. In his speech, Zhang elaborated on the boundless concept embodied in the MEIZU 20 INFINITY from two perspectives: product design and industrial integration.

**In terms of product design**, the MEIZU 20 INFINITY (Infinity Edition) departs from the traditional approach of surrounding the screen with a metal frame. Instead, it employs two pieces of titanium glass to cover the frame, achieving an industry-first edge-to-edge visual experience on the front. Additionally, the rear camera abandons the metallic ring design, utilizing an integrated sapphire lens, thus embodying the boundless design concept in the palm of your hand, presenting a sense of limitless beauty.

**On the industrial integration front**, the MEIZU 20 INFINITY (Infinity Edition) creatively deepens the integration of smartphones with automotive smart cockpits through the self-developed Flyme system by Xingji Meizu Group. This seamless connection allows the smartphone to become an organic part of the car, bridging the gaps between different industries.

“MEIZU 20 INFINITY (Infinity Edition) is one of the representative works of Xingji Meizu Group's boundless vision,” Zhang Xiangrong stated. “It is not just a smartphone but also an organic entity of the vehicle's system, heralding a new era of seamless connectivity between smartphones and automobiles.”

Currently, the development of new energy vehicles has entered the intelligent second phase, and the concept of "software-defined vehicles" is gaining increasing recognition among industry professionals. The software ecosystem is becoming a crucial area for automakers to build differentiated advantages, and the cross-industry integration of consumer electronics and the automotive sector is an inevitable trend. Against this backdrop, Xingji Meizu Group has taken the lead in proposing the innovative concept of the "mobile domain," allowing smartphones to truly integrate and become part of vehicles, empowering the automotive industry with consumer electronics capabilities.

Looking ahead, Xingji Meizu Group will continue to explore the path of cross-industry integration between consumer electronics and the automotive sector, aiming to build a thriving intelligent mobility ecosystem that provides users with a new, boundless intelligent lifestyle experience.
