Fudan University's School of Management has awarded the title of CDO Corporate Mentor to Shen Ziyu, Chairman of XingJi Meizu Group.

On September 21, Shen Ziyu, Chairman and CEO of XingJi Meizu Group, as well as Chairman and CEO of ECARX and Chipin Technology, attended Fudan University's School of Management's Career Interest Commune (CIC MONTH) event alongside Ren Jianqiong, founder of the "Seed Plan" public welfare project and partner at Haina Asia Venture Capital.

CIC, initiated by the Career Development Center (CDO) of Fudan University's School of Management in 2021, aims to create a platform for students to exchange and learn about career interests, fostering connections among students with shared job-seeking goals.

During the event, Shen Ziyu, one of China's early practitioners in the connected vehicle industry, delivered a keynote speech, offering valuable insights and advice to Generation Z students. He also shared his views on the future of industries and the development of young technological talent, receiving a warm reception from Fudan students.

Currently, China's electric vehicle sector is entering the intelligent phase, with the concept of "software-defined vehicles" gaining traction among industry professionals. Software ecosystems are becoming crucial for automakers to build differentiated advantages. As a pioneer and authority in the connected vehicle industry, Shen Ziyu has integrated the upstream and downstream of the smart mobility sector, gradually establishing companies like Chipin Technology, ECARX, and XingJi Meizu Group. These companies offer key products and services, including China's first 7nm automotive-grade SoC chip "Dragon Eagle," Antora, Makalu, and Super Brain automotive computing platforms, as well as the Meizu 20 series, Flyme 10, and Flyme Auto smart cockpit operating systems. Shen's entrepreneurial journey showcases not only his forward-looking industry insights and horizontal strategic capabilities but also reflects the deep integration of China's consumer electronics and automotive industries, leading to a reconfiguration of supply and value chains.

Science and technology are the primary productive forces, talent is the first resource, and innovation is the primary driving force. Future industrial development will be driven by technological innovation, with young talent serving as a vital force in this progress. At the event, Shen Ziyu addressed the pressing question of "employment vs. entrepreneurship," sharing insights and experiences through simple language and vivid examples. He emphasized that entrepreneurs often see the future before others, enduring immense pressure, anxiety, and misunderstanding—a challenging journey that requires inner strength. For young tech talents aspiring to be future leaders, he advised focusing on doing the right things, not just doing things right, while pursuing their passions and dreams with dedication.

Following Shen, Ms. Ren Jianqiong introduced the "Seed Plan," which has provided targeted internship opportunities for 847 college students over the past decade. She expressed that the goal of the Seed Plan is to offer students transformative and innovative experiences before they enter society, encouraging them to explore a broader world.

During the interactive session, attendees actively asked questions about career planning and entrepreneurial innovation, to which Shen Ziyu responded thoughtfully. He encouraged the Gen Z youth, emphasizing that immense dreams and extraordinary diligence are crucial for achieving their ultimate goals. He urged them to imagine boldly but also to remain grounded in their efforts. Highlighting the current dynamic era, he noted that the tech industry is at a pivotal moment of growth and advancement. Shen expressed his hope that Gen Z would diligently study and aspire to become tech leaders, contributing to this great historical journey.

At the end of the event, Cao Neng, Director of the Career Development Center at Fudan University's School of Management, presented CDO corporate mentor certificates to Shen Ziyu and Ren Jianqiong.
