The Polestar Technology China Headquarters Project has Settled in Nanjing

    On January 3rd, the Starry Meizu Group officially signed a contract with the Jiangning Development Zone of Nanjing City to establish the Polestar Technology China headquarters project in the Jiangning Development Zone. This project will integrate a research and development center, operations center, procurement center, sales center, and delivery center.

    Nanjing Mayor Chen Zhichang and Li Shufu, Chairman of Zhejiang Geely Holding Group Co., Ltd., jointly inaugurated the project. Leaders from the city and district, including Lin Tao, Wu Wei, Huang Chengwen, Wang Aijun, as well as Starry Meizu Group Chairman Shen Ziyu, President Su Jing, and Automotive Division President Chen Siying, were also in attendance.

    Polestar Technology is a joint venture established by the Starry Meizu Group and Polestar Automotive. Polestar Automotive was founded in 2017 and is headquartered in Gothenburg, Sweden. It is a global high-performance electric vehicle brand formed by a partnership between Volvo Car Group and Zhejiang Geely Holding Group. Currently, Polestar has two research and development centers and three production bases worldwide.

    The Starry Meizu Group is a cross-industry, full-stack smart terminal platform that actively invests in the development of cutting-edge technology. Its scope covers various fields, including smart electric vehicles, smartphones, XR technology, self-developed operating systems, wearable smart terminals, smart home solutions, and lifestyle products. The company is focused on achieving deep integration and super synergy between the consumer electronics and automotive industries, aiming to build a global smart mobility technology ecosystem.

    The Polestar Technology China headquarters project, recently signed, integrates multiple business functions, including Polestar Automotive's vehicle sales in China, operational management center, development and operation of smart connected vehicle systems, as well as research and sales of Polestar-branded smartphones and AR smart glasses. This initiative represents a pragmatic step for both parties to promote the development of smart connected vehicles and the new energy vehicle industry.

    In the future, the Starry Meizu Group will collaborate with the Jiangning Development Zone to strengthen the innovative development capabilities of the new energy vehicle industry and build an open and symbiotic ecosystem for smart connected new energy vehicles.
